Our Story
Datalynx was founded in 2002 by two IT professionals with extensive experience in data migration - and they are still with the company today. They recognised the need for a customised, reliable and professional data migration service, and leveraged their collective expertise to develop the tools and processes necessary to meet this demand. Datalynx’s first client was the Metropolitan Police Service, where they successfully delivered a large-scale Oracle Human Resources project.
Since that time, the company has expanded to become one of the UK’s leading specialist data solution consultancies, with a team of 75 data specialists and support staff, our people being the foundation of our success. We are a collaborative team from a truly diverse range of backgrounds, which as you’d expect includes long careers in IT, data and engineering, but we are also home to recent graduates, career changers, ex-police officers and other service leavers, whom collectively bring a broad spectrum of experience and knowledge. We deal with large-scale national programmes to niche migration projects and everything in between, and we absolutely love a challenge.
