Datalynx’s Nicky Spinks will be back in action this weekend with an attempt at the Ladies Lake District 24 hour record. She was forced to abandon an attempt back in May after snow and fatigue (not entirely unconnected) conspired to make the record impossible. The current record, set by Carol Morgan last year, is an incredible 65 peaks covered in just under 24 hours. Nicky held the record previously, having achieved 64 peaks back in 2011. Nicky, pictured here during her May attempt, tells us that whilst lockdown had constrained her preparation somewhat last time, she now feels on good form.
